A computing platform is a sort of hardware architecture and software framework such as Windows that allows software to run.
Typical platforms include a computer’s architecture, operating system, programming languages and related user interface. A platform is a crucial element in software development.
A platform might be simply defined as a place to launch software. Older Windows 95, 97 etc. cannot launch most of today’s new millennium software – an upgraded or completely new operating system is needed. The old system is just too restrictive, old and slow.
SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLE: JESUS SAID YOU JUST CAN’T PUT NEW WINE INTO OLD WINESKIN’S! It’s time for upgrade!
