FOR IN DUE SEASON – THAT MEANS WHEN ITS YOUR TIME!!! ITS YOUR SOWING THAT CREATES YOUR HARVEST SEASON!

There is nothing like the joyful expectation and exhilaration you feel in your spirit when you sense you are being set up by God to experience and receive some phenomenal new things, and you see how God is positioning you for a potential fresh move of His Spirit that will cause seeds you have planted to sprout forth into a mighty harvest.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9

There is a “due season” to reap! Just be not weary in well doing.

That means don’t get tired or discouraged from continuing to sow to the Spirit. Encourage yourself in the Lord when there is no one else around to encourage you. I feel something stirring in my spirit for many of you today.

The Greek word for “due” is “idios.” It means “ones own” or “distinct” or “personal.” The Greek for “season” is “kairos” which can mean a number of things, but specifically here it can mean “a suitable time or favorable moment or opportunity where you can take advantage of things coming to a head.” The Greek for “reap” is “therizo” simply meaning “harvest.”

I know that in prophetic circles we like to declare things like “2014 – this is the year of…..” or “This is the season for…” And those prophetic exhortations and declarations are fine to encourage us in our faith.

But, I want you to know today, that no matter what anybody else’s season or year is, THERE ARE “PERSONAL” DUE SEASONS FOR YOU TO HARVEST SEEDS YOU HAVE SOWN.

They are your distinct personal seasons to reap, whether anybody else around you is reaping or not. YOUR SEED – YOUR SOWING CREATES THE POTENTIAL HARVEST SEASONS.

Just don’t get “weary.” That Greek word is “egkakeó” meaning “discouraged, disheartened or to lose heart.” You must stay in faith, believing what you have sown by the Spirit will create a harvest for you. You must stay in faith and alert in the Spirit, and get ready to reap and harvest in your DUE SEASON.

If you believe you are in a “due season” then just let the joy of the Lord be your strength and shout today! Be encouraged. God is not unjust to forget your labor of love Scripture says. HE IS FAITHFUL!!
